ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester’s tech leaders, founders, and innovators gathered at the Jackrabbit Club in Village Gate last night for a high-energy celebration of TechRiseRoc, TechRochester’s mentorship-driven program designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs gain traction and grow.
The event brought together established industry professionals and up-and-coming founders to celebrate TechRiseRoc, TechRochester's signature mentor–mentee matching program. The program pairs entrepreneurs with experienced business and technology leaders, offering structured support, guidance, and real-world connections that help new companies accelerate faster. 2026 Technology Woman of the Year Awards: Nominations Now Open
In addition to the celebration, this week, TechRochester formally announced the opening of nominations for the 2026 Technology Woman of the Year (TWY) and Emerging Technology Woman of the Year (ETWY) awards, two of the region’s most respected honors recognizing women driving technological innovation and leadership across Greater Rochester.

Anyone may nominate a candidate
Finalists will be selected by an independent panel of past judges and community leaders
Award recipients will be announced at the 2026 Technology Woman of the Year Celebration
Tentative date: Thursday, April 23, 2026 (location to be announced)
These awards recognize women who are shaping Rochester’s tech future—through inventing new technologies, scaling startups, building teams, advancing DEI, and mentoring the next generation.
