Syracuse AI Startup Daiahn Launches Beta to Help Enterprises Track AI Performance and Spending
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — As businesses accelerate their adoption of artificial intelligence, a new challenge is emerging: understanding what AI systems are actually doing, how much they cost and whether they are delivering measurable value.
Syracuse-based technology startup Daiahn is looking to address that challenge with the beta launch of Agent Intelligence, an enterprise software platform designed to help organizations monitor AI activity, evaluate performance and manage spending.
Announced Oct. 22, the launch marks a milestone for the Upstate New York company as it begins introducing its technology to executives at Fortune 500 companies worldwide. The beta will roll out in phases, with a public waitlist now open for additional users.
The Growing Challenge of Managing Enterprise AI
AI is moving beyond chatbots and content generation into more complex business operations. Increasingly, companies are deploying AI agents capable of performing tasks, analyzing information and supporting decisions with varying levels of human involvement.
While these tools offer opportunities to improve productivity, their growing use introduces new operational challenges.
Organizations may have multiple AI models and agents operating across departments, making it difficult for leadership to understand total spending, identify inefficiencies or assess the business value of their investments.
Daiahn's Agent Intelligence platform is designed to bring that information into one place.
The software provides visibility into AI activity across users, models, projects and individual work sessions. It also tracks token consumption, a common measure of AI usage that directly influences costs, and provides analytics to help organizations identify opportunities for improvement.
For business leaders, the objective is to move beyond measuring AI adoption toward understanding its operational and financial impact.
From AI Experimentation to Accountability
The launch reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology as businesses move from experimenting with AI to managing it as part of their everyday operations.
Daiahn is positioning Agent Intelligence as a tool for that transition, offering capabilities that include AI health checks, session-level analysis, cost monitoring and recommendations for improving efficiency.
For example, an organization could use the platform to identify which AI projects are generating the highest costs, investigate individual sessions and determine where changes could improve performance or reduce unnecessary spending.
“AI agents are fundamentally changing how work gets done, but enterprises need a new way to manage that work,” said Ian Stokes-Rees, CEO of Daiahn, in the company's launch announcement.
Agent Intelligence is part of Daiahn's larger ambition to build an operating system for the AI-powered enterprise, connecting AI execution, oversight and business intelligence.
Building Enterprise AI Technology in Syracuse
Headquartered in Syracuse, with an additional office in Rochester, Daiahn is developing enterprise AI technology from Upstate New York while targeting customers in national and international markets.
Its approach reflects an opportunity for regional technology companies to compete in emerging sectors such as AI infrastructure, enterprise software and intelligent automation.
The initial beta rollout will give Daiahn an opportunity to work with enterprise executives and technical teams, gather feedback and refine the platform before expanding availability.
The company has not announced a date for general availability.
Businesses, developers and AI teams interested in testing the technology can learn more and join the Agent Intelligence beta waitlist.
The launch represents another step in the development of enterprise-focused AI technology in Central New York, as the industry increasingly shifts its attention from what artificial intelligence can do to how organizations can manage, measure and improve its results.
