Montgomery Court Coffee

A newer Park Ave favorite with strong wifi, a friendly entrepreneurial vibe, and good breakfast sandwiches (GF options included). Great for morning sessions and founder meetups. Owned by a serial entrepreneur - he gets founders! Closes around 2 p.m.


Melo Coffee & Kitchen

696 University Ave, Rochester, NY 14607

One of NOTA’s most polished cafés collaborative meetings, or working lunches. Elevated menu, spacious interior, and outdoor seating in warmer weather. Wifi is dependable on weekdays; weekends they turn it off.


Starbucks at Pittsford Community Library

A highly practical founder hangout. Reliable wifi, plentiful outlets, free parking, and regular foot traffic from business owners and remote workers. Located inside the library; often doubles as an impromptu networking hub. You are most likely always going to meet someone new. Its still a Starbucks.


Starbucks at Twelve Corners

Quiet, predictable, and designed for deep work. Lots of tables, strong wifi, and ample outlets. A dependable weekday work location for founders who want zero friction and minimal noise. Its still a Starbucks.



Java’s Café

16 Gibbs St, Rochester, NY 14604

A downtown staple woven into the fabric of Rochester’s creative and startup community. Expect steady energy, plenty of students and founders, and strong coffee. Parking is limited and outlets are few, but the cultural vibe makes it a classic.


RoCoCo Café (The Mercantile on Main)

Central, professional, and convenient for downtown meetings and work stretches. Great coffee and a consistent work environment. Paid street parking and bustling lunch-hour crowds are the tradeoff. A longtime downtown favorite known for its craft coffee, easy access from the expressway, and solid meeting space. Great snacks and collaborative seating options. Street parking is paid, but the central location makes it a convenient rendezvous point.


Clementine Coffee

One of Fairport’s best work-and-meet cafés. Creative drinks, bright interiors, reliable wifi, and generous outlet availability make it strong for both remote work and collaborative sessions. A great Eastside option with an artistic, welcoming vibe.


Bar Bantam

A downtown standout for founders who want work time that can transition into after-hours meetings. Spacious, modern seating makes it ideal for long laptop sessions or casual founder gatherings.
