ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Connected Know is launching the Connected Know Business Book Club, a new monthly series designed to convene Rochester-area founders, executives, operators and growth-minded professionals for structured conversation, networking and shared learning.

The series will debut in January 2026 and is hosted in partnership with Serendipity Labs Rochester at Innovation Center as part of a six-month venue and community collaboration. The book club will be held in person in the evening on the last Monday of each month.

To start the year off, the inaugural selection is Give First by Brad Feld, a widely regarded

book on mentorship, entrepreneurial ecosystems and leadership through generosity. Participants are encouraged to read the book in advance and arrive prepared for a facilitated, discussion-driven session.

Here are the event details:

Date: January 26, 2026

Time: 5:30 pm -7:30 pm

Location: Serendipity Labs Rochester - 100 S Clinton Ave 24th Floor, Rochester, NY 14604

The Business Book Club builds on Connected Know’s mission to create meaningful connection around ideas shaping Rochester’s business and innovation economy. The monthly format is intended to provide a consistent, welcoming forum for thoughtful dialogue, peer learning and relationship-building across industries.

Serendipity Labs Rochester will serve as the official home of the series, aligning the premium coworking and flexible office provider with one of the region’s fastest-growing business media and community platforms.

We are thrilled to partner with Connected Know on this new Business Book Club,” said Marla Evangelista, general manager of Serendipity Labs Rochester. “Our space was designed to foster collaboration, ideas and connection, and this series brings those values to life. The Business Book Club is open to the public, with no membership required, but you must RSVP and space is limited. It is designed for founders, corporate leaders, managers, entrepreneurs and professionals at all stages of their careers.

The group will meet on the last Monday of each month at Serendipity Labs Rochester. Each two-hour session will begin with 30 minutes of networking and light refreshments, followed by a 90-minute guided discussion centered on the selected book.

Participants can purchase Give First Here, at other major retailers or locally at Bruno’s Books & Beans on Monroe Avenue in Brighton, supporting a local independent bookstore.
